Five to Nine is a short film made in a SCAD collaboration class called ANIM 395. The short film follows Randy, an elementary school janitor, as he gets ready for his nightly shift. As his work begins, dust monsters try to take over and destroy the school. But Randy’s love for the children is far greater than the monsters' love for destruction. In this class, I had the opportunity to write, direct, and animate this wonderful film. Since my team and I are submitting to film festivals, we cannot upload the full film yet. However, these are the shots I animated.

Motion Capture Use
For shots 8, 17, and 18, I had the privilege of working with motion capture for the first time. Given my team's 10-week timeline, motion capture was a great way to speed up the animation blocking process.
